Does Costco Have A Price Adjustment Policy?

Yes! Also known as Price Protection or Price Guarantee, Costco does provide customers the ability to get money back on their purchases when items they have purchased drop in price or go on sale. Customers are eligible for a refund for the difference in price. Costco Price Adjustment is a great way to save money on your past purchases!

Costco Price Adjustment Policy Details

If you have purchased a product within the last 30 days and it is now reduced in price, you can claim your Costco Price Adjustment either in-store or online depending on where you made the purchase.

In addition, Costco’s return policy allows you to return items at any time after purchase with some exceptions on Electronics (90 days), Diamonds (subject to diamond verification), Customer Installation Services and products with limited useful life expectancy.

Note: Price Adjustments will only be accepted on products that are in stock.

How To Get Your Costco Price Adjustment

Did you make your purchase online?

Did you make your purchase in-store?

  • Walk-in to your Costco location and request the price adjustment there. Costco does not accept online price adjustments for purchases made in-store.

Do you need a receipt?

  • Having a receipt speeds up the process, but as long as you have your costco card, customer service can lookup the purchase using your membership card number.
